Scientists and academics sit in their ivory towers and ponder things which no-one else understands? Far from it! Research explores the world around us and is meant to be experienced. Lectures from all five faculties are being held in Nicolaus-Copernicus-Planetarium on the occasion of the 275th anniversary of FAU. The speakers prove that knowledge is constantly in motion, never standing still. During the anniversary year, the University is reaching out to the general public to show them how knowledge can be generated, extended and communicated. The main focus is on the future of research.
